Hagen Family Investments, operator of Scribed, is the data controller for personal data processed through the Service. Contact us at support@scribed.lovable.app with any privacy question or request.

Personal data we collect

• Account data — name, email address, password credentials, plan and tier, last active time.
• Meeting content — audio recorded through your device or meeting bot, transcripts, typed notes, AI summaries, action items and voice characteristics used only to tell speakers apart within a meeting.
• Participant data — names and email addresses of attendees you invite or assign tasks to.
• Connected service data — calendar events and task lists you authorise us to read or write (Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, Planner).
• Payment data — subscription status, plan and billing period. Card details are collected and stored by our payment provider, Stripe, never by us.
• Technical data — log, error and usage information such as minutes transcribed.

How we use it

To provide transcription, summarisation and reminders; to operate accounts and authentication; to enforce plan limits; to send task and account emails; to take payment and prevent fraud; and to diagnose and improve the Service. Our legal bases are performance of a contract, legitimate interests and, where required, consent.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — our payment processor; receives purchase and billing information.
• Cloud hosting and database providers — to store your account and meeting data.
• AI and transcription providers — to convert audio into text and generate summaries.
• Meeting bot and email delivery providers — to join calls you schedule and to send reminders.
• Microsoft and Google — only where you connect those accounts.

We do not sell personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Recording consent

You are responsible for informing meeting participants that a recording is taking place and obtaining any consent required in their jurisdiction.

Retention

Meeting history is retained for 30 days on the Free plan and 6 months on Pro. Account data is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your meetings, transcripts, tasks and connected-service tokens are deleted; limited billing records are retained by our payment processor as required by law.

Your rights

Depending on your location you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email support@scribed.lovable.app and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security and transfers

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider. Data may be processed outside your country using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
